Anna Winstanley – Goodfrolicking
I am Anna Winstanley, an artist, creator, facilitator and tarot reader with a BA hons in Textile Design from Central-St Martins School of Art and qualifications & experience in teaching Art, Design and Health at secondary, primary and pre-school levels.
I have been a psycho-sexual scribe / amanuensis for disabled people working with sex & disability in creative health & personal assistant roles, an environmental education and community arts teacher and facilitator in parks, gardens and museums and a Children & Family Theatre programming lead at The Cockpit Theatre In London, and student of Jungian & Tarot archetypes at the College of Psychic studies in London. The tarot reading that I do is counselling based, not fortune telling.
I’m a networker and I volunteer at the Hastings and St Leonards museum, which is great.
I was writing a very graphic novel about the use of animal parts as aphrodisiacs but have been working on Graphic Medicine projects on the subject of lived experience of lung-disease for the last year.
You could say my expertise is in arts facilitation for health, aka Creative Health. But it is hard to find work, so I subsidise my existence by working as a carer and tarot reader, which I am good at. I am insured and DBS checked.
I’m on the management committee of NTM Patient Care UK and a trustee of CSKX Studios, an artist led Charity based in Camden, London, undertaking collaborative arts projects within education and across local communities – schools, care-homes, community-centres, health-centres and hospitals.
Thank you for reading this. Do get in touch if you think I can help, or you want to commission some art, workshop facilitation or a tarot reading from me.
