Hastings Festival Fringe

The Hastings Festival Fringe is an unofficial series of events, beginning in September 2024, running alongside the Hastings Book Festival. The Fringe includes workshops, performances, readings and discussions covering prose, poetry, art and literature. All Fringe events are FREE and no bookings are required. All our events take place at Barnaby’s Lounge, 46 Robertson Street, Hastings, England – just five minutes’ walk from the official Book Festival at the Observer Building. Our events are timed to take place between events at the official Book Festival so that you can attend both. Our speakers are unpaid and we receive no funding. The organisers are volunteers; we are an informal, non-profitmaking group of individuals.
