Hastings Book Festival Fringe

Hastings Book Festival Fringe

The Hastings Book Festival Fringe was founded in 2024 and is a series of events running alongside the Hastings Book Festival, mainly in September each year with occasional other events in other months. The Fringe includes workshops, performances, readings and discussions covering prose, poetry, art and literature. Fringe events are mostly free and take place at different locations in Hastings – mostly Barnaby’s Lounge, 46 Robertson Street, but also at Hot Tap Theatre in St Andrew’s Mews, Hastings Library and the Observer Building. Our speakers are unpaid and we receive no funding. The organisers are volunteers; we are an informal, non-profitmaking group of individuals.
