Hastings Independent Press (HIP) is a local fortnightly newspaper covering Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and now Rye. Written by the community for the community and now in our 5th year, Hastings Independent has become the peoples choice for regional news, political debate, the arts, reviews along with the most comprehensive listings section. HIP is the only paper based media giving up so much space to the local creative arts as we include new arts supplements throughout the year and give the prime position of the back page over to local artists in every issue.

Being a volunteer led publication means we have very low overheads. In turn this means that we are able to keep advertising rates at a level that meet all creative purse strings.
