Barney Norris

I am a playwright, novelist, screenwriter, poet, critic and theatremaker. My work has received awards from the International Theatre Institute, the Critics’ Circle, the Evening Standard, the South Bank Sky Arts Times Breakthrough Awards and the Society of Authors, among others. I’m a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and teach creative writing at the University of Oxford. I’ve recently made work in collaboration with Kazuo Ishiguro, Derren Brown and Athol Fugard.
