John Crosby is one of the UK's leading independent world, folk and related music PR's. He works both nationally and locally with print media, radio and TV (and online). Established in 1990, and trading initially as john crosby press/promotions, John has worked with June Tabor, Oysterband, The Unthanks, Rachel Unthank & The Winterset, Mariza, Yasmin Levy, The Imagined Village, Walking With Ghosts, Camille, Lila Downs, Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill, Sara Tavares, Frank Yamma, Hazmat Modine, Sura Susso and many other fine musicians, singers and groups. "I have worked as a column editor and a journalist at several major publications, including Q, MOJO, Time Out (London) and the now-defunct City Limits magazines as well as more specialist publications such as fROOTS, Old Time Music, Blues Unlimited, Right Track and Jazz Express. Additionally, I've compiled and written the sleevenotes to over 150 CD releases, including Peter Green 'The Anthology' (4-CD boxset, for which I also wrote the accompanying book that goes inside this)."
